Job DescriptionTo provide intelligent business information to management that informs their strategic people management practices through the provision of regular MIS reports based on a complete and clear understanding of the database including the co-ordination and management of changes to the MIS database, the streamlining of MIS reports and processes
- Promotes teamwork amongst peers and team members
- Empowers customers to use tools to generate reports
- Creates solutions to meet customer demands
- Ensures customer service solutions are aligned to the operational business plan
- Ensures continuous process improvement to enable effective operational processes
- Contributes to financial gain of the Company through accurate and ontime legislative reporting
- Administers the management information system database
- Manages the quality standards of the database
- Participates in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
- Grade 1
- Degree in either Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Business Informatics would be advantages
Technical Proficiency:
- Database Management: Experience working with databases, querying data, and understanding database structures.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in analysing data, identifying trends, and drawing insights.
- Programming Languages: Familiarity with languages such as SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and reporting.
- Business Intelligence Tools: Knowledge of tools like Power BI for creating visualizations.

- Understanding of

Ability to comprehend organizational workflows and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry or sector in which the organization operates.

- Collaboration: Willingness to work with crossfunctional teams and bridge the gap between IT and business units.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:
- Analytical Skills: Capability to identify problems, propose solutions, and make datadriven decisions.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies and anomalies in data.
Project Management:
- Project Coordination: Experience managing projects, adhering to timelines, and ensuring successful implementation.
- Requirements Gathering: Proficiency in eliciting and documenting user requirements.
