Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for developing Market Intelligence reports (by Sector &/or Product Category), Sector Marketing Plans for Key Sectors and growing the Sales Pipeline by Sector in support of the Business Plan.

What you'll have done before:
- NQF Level 7 (Degree in Commerce/ Marketing or related)
- 5 years' experience in Statistical Analysis or experience in B2B Customer Research
ADVANTAGEOUS:
- Project Management Certificate
- Customer Service experience

What you'll have done before:
- MARKET INTELLIGENCE & ANALYSIS:
- Provide market intelligence by establishing relationships and monitoring the Petro-chemical market for trends, monitoring emerging players and performing in-depth research, identifying and gathering competitive marketing intelligence, create a repository of market intelligence and ensure a user friendly method for users to access information
- Scan the environment and marketplace for innovative fuel and chemical growth opportunities
- Compile a monthly competitive report to ensure up to date competitive analysis with relevant industry players.
SECTOR MARKETING STRATEGIES:
- Develop and obtain approval for Sector Marketing Plans for selected market sectors to drive and support the Business Plan objectives
CUSTOMER & MARKET SEGMENTATION:
- Conduct Customer/market segmentation (through developing, conducting and maintaining customer tier analysis) in order to create and implement appropriate customer value propositions.
BUSINESS SUPPORT:
- Grow the Sales pipeline through identifying Prospects & Compiling Sales Campaigns in Salesforce
- Provide research in support of Sale Efforts wrt tender proposal development
- Respond to market intelligence requests and industry trends from innovation teams and executive management
MASTER DATA:
- Ensure data integrity through maintenance of customer data to ensure accuracy of records
