Job Requirements:


Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field is required.

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in Marketing and/or Advertising
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media marketing platforms, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and PS is a plus

Responsibilities:

Market Research: Support senior management by conducting market research, monitoring industry trends and customer behaviours. customer preferences, to help identify target customers

Strategy Development: Coordinate and implement the marketing strategies and campaigns, including creating engaging content that will attract the right customers.

Lead Generation and Conversion: Implement lead generation strategies to attract potential customers and nurture them through the sales funnel. Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to conversion.

Customer Engagement and Retention: Contribute to social media and content calendars by managing the production of interesting and shareable content, such as articles, social media posts, videos, etc. Ensure that regular web content updates are performed and checking content for accuracy and consistency.

Generating Quality Blog Content
  • Creating engaging and informative blog content is essential for attracting and retaining audience attention. Marketing Manager will have to research industry trends, keywords, and audience preferences to produce highquality blog articles that resonate with target audiences, drive website traffic, and enhance brand authority.

Understanding Social Media Best Practices
  • Possess indepth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices to maximize audience engagement and reach. Develop social media strategies, create compelling content, and execute tactics such as hashtag optimization, influencer partnerships, and community management to build brand presence and foster meaningful interactions.

Establishing Goals and Performance Indicators
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear objectives, goals, and performance indicators for organic marketing and digital marketing initiatives. Whether it's lead generation, website traffic, or revenue generation, setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timebound) goals ensures alignment with overall business objectives and facilitates performance tracking and evaluation.

Executing Campaigns on Social Networks
  • Leverage social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest to execute targeted marketing campaigns. Create engaging content, run paid advertising campaigns, and implement social media strategies to attract followers, drive engagement, and generate leads or sales.
