ACCOUNTS CLERK - MPUMALANGA (NORTH)

Person ideally should reside in the Mpumalanga Northern area only

Ideally the person is required to have worked for 2 - 4 years experience in Accounting

On site Accommodation is supplied for this position

Duties:-

· Daily balancing and processing of income

· Daily Cash ups and balancing of departments

• Handling of Petty Cash and supplementary payments
• Reconciliation processing
• Month End stock counts
• Account balancing
• Processing of journals
• Issuing of fuel payments
• Updating registers
• Processing all invoices and reconciliations
• Handling of safes, floats and change
• Ordering stationary
• Handling ATM Duties
• Month end procedures and cash ups
• Assist with stock takes

Characteristics and Attributes:-

• Must be a South African citizen
• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 with Accounting and Mathematics as subjects
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years previous accounting / Financial experience
• Be able to work well under pressure and be self disciplined
• Excellent organisational and strong calculation skills
• Strict adherence and implementation of all relevant policies and procedures
• Prepared to work on weekends
• Must be able to concentrate for long hours and in a busy environment
• Must have excellent Communication and friendly liaison skills - able to work as part of a team

Salary:-

R per month

Computer literacy :-

• Good working knowledge of both MS Office, Excel and ACCPAC
