Description

As the Assistant Hotel Manager, & Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing both the restaurant operations and supporting the general management functions of our hotel.

You will ensure the seamless operation of the restaurant while assisting the General Manager in driving overall excellence in guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


Assistant Hotel Manager:


  • Assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations, including front office management, housekeeping, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure cohesive teamwork and alignment with hotel objectives.
  • Support the implementation of policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
  • Assist in financial management tasks, such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decisionmaking processes to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Act as a liaison between management and staff, fostering open communication and a positive work culture.

Restaurant Management:


  • Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including dining room management, staff supervision, and customer service.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming and efficient dining experience for guests, ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently met.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, such as menu planning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Train, motivate, and supervise restaurant staff to ensure they deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements/ Experience:


  • Previous experience in similar role in an upscale environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Guest and service centric approach, leads by example
  • Strong leadership and people skills
  • Excellent Food & Beverage knowledge
  • Financial Management skills
  • Able to work hospitality hours including weekends and public holidays
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license
