Description
Luxury game lodge close to Hoedspruit is looking for a Head Guide.- Meticulous in all aspects of Managing the Guiding Department
- Managing, Overseeing and Disciplining Staff in the Guiding Department
- Staff training and development
- Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media
- All administrative duties pertaining to the Guiding Department
- Overseeing and Management of the Portfolio's Fleet
- Allocation of rangers and trackers to daily game drives
- Daily Game Drives & Bush walks
- Hosting Duties
- Allocation of Airport Transfers
- Guest Activity and Airport Transfers
- Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed
- Photographic safaris
- Reporting to Group Operations Manager and Head Office
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Big 5 reserve and 5 star lodge necessary
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Big 5 reserve
- Experience in wildlife photography will be an advantage
- Valid RSA Driver's License and PDP
- First Aid
- FGASA Level
- Trails Guide Qualification will be an advantage
- Firearm competency
