As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for representing Company through their online presence by implementing and managing the Company's Social Media strategy in order to increase the online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.


  • Implement and manage the social media strategy.
  • Highly proficient in all social media platforms including, but not limited to such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google My Business, LinkedIn, TripAdvisor, Pinterest etc.
  • Define most important social media KPIs.
  • Copywriting and designing social media pages and ensuring content is informative and appealing.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams as well as General Managers on area specific issues or social media marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and oversee social media content including the Company Website.
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign.
  • Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  • Provide constructive feedback.
  • Engage with customers promptly and professionally through the use of social media platforms.
  • Maximizing social media followers and increase social media and website traffic.
  • Blog writing.
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:


  • Provide customer service where required.
  • Ensure familiar with rates to access as well as operating hours.
  • Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner, if necessary, escalate to Key Accounts Manager or CEO

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Must be maths literate and English literate at matric level and ELSA Intermediate NQF
  • Marketing, PR or similar relevant qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years similar experience.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Experience with audience and buyer persona research.
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  • Proficiency with MS office software packages.
  • Must have excellent interactive skills.
  • Highly positive individual.
  • Must be able to cope with repetitive routine.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Team Player
  • Professional in behavior and appearance.
  • Very fluent in English.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Very good organizational skills.
