We are looking for a
Category Admin Assistant to help us deliver our growth strategies.

During your training, you will learn how to - understand merchandise trends, interpret Clients' needs, and construct merchandise collections that successfully deliver their business strategies.


Role:


To support the Category Specialist in the - development of focused merchandise collections, briefing our suppliers and serving our Clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Photographing & cataloguing of samples.
  • Tagging & filing samples.
  • Maintaining the "supplier bible "
  • Assist in briefing suppliers.
  • Checking & signing off on QA.
  • Working with "best sellers" & suggesting developments of these.
  • Doing the groundwork for developing collections for Clients.
  • Assist Category Specialist with post seasonal analysis.
  • Publishing planograms.
  • Preparing for meetings & presentations to clients.
  • Full administrative support to a team of Buyers
  • Labelling of samples
  • Cataloguing of samples
  • Cataloguing of collections
  • Coordination and administration
  • File maintenance
  • Data capturing
  • Adhoc projects

Results

  • Meeting deadlines.
  • Keeping sample filing 100% up to date all of the time.
  • Wowing Clients on every interaction.

Requirements:

3 year Tertiary Fashion Qualification a Fashion Buying, Clothing Management, Fashion Design or Retail Management faculty:

-
Passion for fashion retail

  • Strong understanding of retail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Committed team player.
  • A strong desire to serve.
  • High personal & business ethics.


  • Basic

  • Intermediate proficiency on Excel
  • Able to thrive in a fastpaced environment
