Senior Sales Representative (Agriculture) - Pretoria.


Are you a results-driven Sales Representative in the Agriculture industry? Our national client who is a leader in the packaging industry, requires the expertise of a Sales Representative who is familiar with selling capital goods.

You must be based in the Pretoria North / Brits and Polokwane area to join their successful sales team.

This position requires a dynamic self-starter to work independently and be willing to travel.


Requirements:


  • Matric, Bachelor of Commerce advantageous
Years experience in a similar environment with a proven track record

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to handle objections
  • Selfmotivated, resultsdriven, and able to work independently
  • Valid Driver's License and own transport

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Reporting to the Sales Manager
  • Manage the allocated Key Account customers as per the agreed KPIs
  • Actively generate new business from Key Account customers
  • Build a pipeline of industrial customers
  • Actively promote the sale of company products and generate increased sales from potential new customers
  • Provide after sales service
  • Service customers/potential customers via regular contact and personal visits
  • Address and resolve customer complaints/ product alert problems timeously
  • Provide customers with technical/other support in relation to productrelated problems
  • Keep abreast of developments and trends including competitor activity
  • Identify new product opportunities and work closely with New Business Development
  • Track progress of new product development & be on the lookout to expand company's product range
  • Arrange factory tours for customers/potential customers for educational purposes
  • Arrange functions to promote products and man the company stand at exhibitions
  • Liaise with Internal Sales regarding weekly Logistics Dispatch Schedule
  • Update and maintain Salesforce as per the agreed procedure and standards
  • Follow up on backorders, cancelled orders and credits
  • Generate annual budgets per product and by customer annually
  • Attend the annual Sales Conference and do a presentation
  • Check all colleagues, clients, suppliers adhere to all SHE policies and requirements

Industrial Division on all KPA's daily, weekly, and monthly
