Description

Key responsibilities include the following:

Assistance in construction of retaining walls and fences
Loading and unloading of structural materials and the movement of said materials around working area
Maintain and plant gardens
Maintain grounds
Operate machinery i.e. Mowers and or tractors
Maintain tools and equipment
Dig trenches for piping, drains and extra services
General site clean up
Reporting of malfunctions to Operations Officer i.e. machinery maintenance and repairs issues
Continuous liaison between specialized contractors i.e. plumbers, electricians etc.
Ensure that customer requests are attended to timeously
Appropriate PPE is used/worn at all times
Ensures continuous Training and Development for self
Achievement of individual goals
Any other reasonable instructions from management

**Requirements: - Grade 12 minimum (Matric) or equivalent NQF level/N4

Required years of related experience

Minimum 3 years in the hospitality industry

**Technical Competencies

Knowledge and understanding of OH&S Act
Basic writing and numeracy skills
