Job Description:

Derivco South Africa is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to be part of our dynamic Data Engineering team.

Job description:

Working with senior and executive level stakeholders to develop a understanding of multidimensional business problems, context, and data required to inform key strategic business decisions.
Advising and influencing senior stakeholder requirements with latest with broad knowledge of relevant metrics, improving strategic business insights.
Analysing large data sets from multiple business areas and presenting meaningful, actionable insights on strategic business problems.
Leading the development of predictive models and algorithms to support strategic decisionmaking.
Identifying opportunities and utilisation of machine learning and artificial intelligence systems to enable improved data analytics.
Presenting findings and insights to executive and senior leadership and stakeholders to drive organizational change.
Designing visualizations, dashboards and reports which communicate meaningful, clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.

Planning & Direction

Developing and executing a data analytics delivery plan that supports the execution of the tactical data analytics strategy.
Serve as the technical lead on projects requiring data analytics input.

Knowledge, Practice and Continuous Improvement

Adjustment and implementation of the team's processes, measures, tools, technology and standards according to the agreed data analytics practices.
Recommendations to improve the practices within a team.
Guidance of team members and sharing of knowledge about the team's practices
