As a Financial Accountant, you'll provide financial support to the business. This may involve working with other departments in order to ensure all of our financials are accurate and that we're adhering to legal requirements.
You will be required to create internal reports on various aspects of the business and use them as a basis for management decisions. You'll also monitor budgets, forecasts and make adjustments where necessary so that we remain financially viable over time.

Requirements

Provides cost effective financial accounting, management information and reporting solutions for the various systems development projects
Performs financial analysis on project activities with focus on profitability and monitoring risks, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and managing cash balances.
Assists in preparing project budgets and financial forecasts.
Sets up reports from the related enterprise accounting systems.
Develops financial reporting templates and format specifications for inclusion into data capture.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates financial reports to ensure accuracy and proper classification of transactions to maintain a complete set of financial records.
Creates and maintains schedules and related documentation, including checks and journals, to ensure comprehensive documentation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
Two years of experience in the accounting field, with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting preferred.
