My client, a leading and well know manaufacturing company based in Somerset west requires a competent and experienced Executive Manager - Internal Services.

This position is reporting tothe Chief COperating Officer (COO)


PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


The Executive Manager:
Internal Services is responsible for the management of the Organization's Capital Investment Portfolio, Quality Management Systems and associated Internal Services


REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum B-Eng./B-Tech, Project Management or relevant NQF 7 equivalent qualification.

At least 7 years extensive Project Management experience and 5 years on portfolio management level.

An engineering or technical background will be an added advantage.

Project Management Qualification at post graduate level.

Excellent knowledge of MS Projects and MS Project server.

Computer literate (Word, Excel, MS Projects & Power Point).

Excellent communication, planning, organizing and presentation skills (verbal & written)

Quality Management Systems, Auditing and business process modeling knowledge.

Statistical, 8D Problem Solving and FMEA techniques will be an added advantage.

Good interpersonal, facilitation and conflict management skills.

Highly organized, self-motivated and attention to detail.

Good management skills with high attention to standards/ efficiency/ effectiveness and results orientated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

_Capital Investment Portfolio Management:
_

Lead the team of project managers in the execution of all capital investment projects.


Managing designated project portfolio with regards to schedule, cost and scope with the focus on maintaining accountability throughout the project portfolio for funds allocation, schedule and scope changes.

Driving decision-making to ensure the projects move forward, minimizing delays and setbacks. Keeping project stakeholders informed on progress and aligned throughout the course of the projects providing timely communication to stakeholders.

Monitoring and ensuring adherence to legal requirements, policies, procedures and other standards to ensure safe project execution.


Support in the development of systems and maintain records that provide for the proper evaluation, control and documentation of projects.

Perform financial analysis, including the preparation of project and portfolio budgets and the reporting thereof.

Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers.

Coaching and mentoring of Project Managers

Compiling annual budgets

Lead the strategic planning of Capital Project annual portfolio

Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Project Management function at Quality Management Systems:

Lead a team in the development, implementation and maintenance of an integrated company quality management system conforming to the ISO9001 requirements.

Document and implement the company quality policy, manual, quality and business processes.
Oversee internal company auditing system.

Internal and external corrective action 8D management system.

Maintain, drive and report on the customer complaint management system.

Monthly balanced scorecard and corporate KPI Report.

Maintain and manage company supplier quality performance management system.

Management and Digitalisation of QMS and Laboratory Information Management Systems Management of business process modelling
