- Planning drill borehole positions, execute drilling, maintain geological log and capture geo-data – advisory authority.
- Ensuring compliance to standards, policy and procedures e.g. core and final depth blocks management, survey and chips samples, rehabilitation of borehole areas – advisory authority.
- Ensuring that core and chip logging is done to the agreed standard and ensure that logs are captured onto relevant geological database.

- Ensuring all interpretations are verified before signed off by the Specialist Exploration Geologist to be approved and sent to Geo-data for the wire framing process.
- Supervising drilling contractors to ensure compliance with exploration plan and contract – management authority.
