    HR Manager (specialising in Talent Acquisition and Compliance) V&A Waterfront, CBD

    R600 R Per Annum Negotiable based on relevant qualification and experience

    Our Client, an astute Travel Tech firm is currently in search of a highly intelligent, numerically inclined, tech savvy and innovative HR Manager to join their growing concern.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Lead talent acquisition and manage compliance with legal standards and company policies.
    • Championing employee wellness, organisational culture and employee experience.
    • Oversee strategic HR planning and risk management initiatives.
    • Implement and manage automated HR systems to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Supervise a small team responsible for HR administration, payroll, and employee records management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations.
    • Maintain health and safety standards in the workplace, including conducting risk assessments and recommending preventive measures.
    • Serve as a key advisor on HR strategy, compliance, skills development and talent management to the leadership team.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the HR function.

    Qualifications and Experience required:

    Bachelors degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience as an HR Manager and / or Senior HRBP and / or HR leadership role, with a strong focus on talent acquisition, HR compliance, and strategic workforce planning.

    ● Above experience gained within a small to medium scaling or "start-up" environment is essential Staff complement being: 140 Staff.

    ● Specific experience in hiring or performing HR functions within the tech or IT industries is a plus.

    ● Fluency in English and Afrikaans (fully bilingual)

    ● Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software and familiarity with technology-driven HR solutions.

    ● Demonstrated experience in automating HR processes and designing efficient HR workflows.

    ● Thorough knowledge of South African employment laws and HR best practices.

    ● Excellent communication, problem-solving, change management and decision-making abilities.

    Knowledge and Skills required:

    ● Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and tools.

    ● Experience in managing HR compliance and reducing the need for outsourced HR services.

    ● Experience in job grading and remuneration policies.

    ● Strategic planning capabilities to align HR functions with organizational goals.

    ● Skilled in risk management and technology innovation within the HR domain.
