Job Purpose-
Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and implement strategy management disciplines across a 3
  • year planning process by collaborating with key stakeholders to define annual objectives and key results (OKRs), strategic metrics (business KPIs and targets) across CVM (Client Value Management) Portfolio and Business Segments in alignment to short
- and long-term strategic initiatives and priorities.

  • Strategy Demand Management: Assess the appropriateness and prioritisation of new and existing strategic initiatives against the CVM Portfolio and Business Segment strategic priorities.
  • Strategic Projects: Ensure full accountability and execution on allocated strategic projects for driving positive change, continuous improvement, innovation, competitive advantage within the CVM business.
  • Solve customer needs and drive the strategy for the business by providing insight, managing data analysis, and interpretation on strategic issues and businessrelated challenges faced by Nedbank.
  • Produce targeted reports/presentations/proposals that summarise findings and recommendations to inform senior management decisionmaking by managing the data collection and analysis process within timelines.
  • Deliver key insights in supporting strategic decisionmaking by responding timeously and professionally to a variety of adhoc business requests that have an impact across the division and organization.
  • Research and analyse queries by consulting with different stakeholders across Nedbank to deliver timeous and accurate resolutions.
  • Identify various stakeholder requirements and collaborate across divisions to achieve common purpose.
  • Create, maintain and coordinate the team effectiveness and disciplines through collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Minimize risk and enhance stakeholder satisfaction by developing embedded processes and ensuring they are aligned with Nedbank standards.
  • Contribute to the achievement of Nedbank goals and objectives.
  • To effectively report and present key findings to an audience for decisionmaking.
  • Improve customer delivery / experience by encouraging a proactive environment of quality analytics and strategic insights.
  • Oversee the delivery of reporting solutions by monitoring, examining, and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Motivate staff to perform and contribute to the success of the business by creating an environment of teamwork through engaging with staff and encouraging participation in decision making processes.
  • Stay abreast in field of expertise and deliver on the expectations from stakeholders by building capability of self and staff through identifying current and future training and development needs.
  • Ensure self and staff understand and embrace the Nedbank Vision and Values by leading by example and reenforcing values during meetings.
  • Participate in the development and implement action plans to address issues raised in culture surveys to improve results.
  • Achieve operational excellence by supporting the implementation of business optimisation improvement through team engagement.
  • Collaborative generation of innovative ideas and knowledge sharing.


  • Essential Qualifications

  • NQF Level
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees


  • Preferred Qualification

  • Master's in Business Administration
