Description

Manage National Sales Function
Management of the company revenue, GP, and Unit growth targets.

Formulation of the group's annual sales and GP budgets.

Design and implementation of the effective pricing models which will result in the company optimising profit opportunities.


Management of the customers with direct involvement in customer acquisition, customer retention and customer development (building personal relationships with the customers, maintaining appropriate customer engagement levels and the required service satisfaction levels, researching and analysing the general market conditions etc).


In conjunction with the sales team develop business plans which will ensure that the company/branches achieve their turnover and gross profit objectives.

Monitor actual performance levels relative to sales and gross profit budgets and implement actions to correct where necessary.


Regularly and comprehensively report to the CEO and Exco on the company's performance, general market conditions and any other issues which may have an influence on the business.

Top 10 customer management per branch - growth in revenue, GP and unit sales.

Managing growth in the key/strategic sales areas within the company.

Developing and implementing effective sales team incentive initiatives and policies.

Influencing and supporting the company marketing strategies and plans.

Training and coaching of the sales personnel.

Development and implementation of various business plans and business projects.


Promotion and implementation of the organisational digital strategy including implementation of the various IT systems and solutions utilised and owned by the sales function within the organisation.

Ensuring operational execution of Sales Plans
Ensure Sales strategies are broken down into executable plans with participation of Branch Management

Ensure actionable targets are set and communicated to all Branch managers and Sales Staff

Support for the development of key brands at all Branches by supporting Key Account Manager

Management of Key Account Manager and Branch Sales Managers
Operational tasks are effectively dealt with by support staff as per their KPIs

Manage subordinates including performance management, development, recruitment and selection and career planning

Implement and manage systems and processes in the department in line with strategy and group practices


Salary:
R800 000,00 per year


Education:


  • Diploma (preferred)

Experience:


  • Sales: 10 years (required)
- automotive parts: 10 years (required)
- staff management: 10 years (required)
