Requirements:

Senior Lecturer

Doctoral degree in Public Administration and Management or Municipal Administration or Development Management with an undergraduate degree in the fields mentioned above or relevant.
At least 5 years teaching experience at tertiary institution, or 7 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
At least five (5) publications in accredited, peer reviewed journals

Lecturer

Master's degree in Public Administration and Management or Municipal Administration or Development Management with an undergraduate degree in the fields mentioned above or relevant.
Three (3) teaching experience at a tertiary institution or five (5) years' professional experience in the relevant field is recommended.
Progress towards PhD studies is an added advantage.

Duties:

Ensure that programme taught comply with required academic and other standards by compiling lecture notes, study guides, blended teaching and learning.
Teaching, supervision and cosupervision of undergraduate and post graduate students.
Participate in University's outreach community engagement programme
Teaching modules in the Department which include amongst others, Public Policy Making, Financial Management, Administrative Theory and Practice, Selected Topics in Public Administration, Context of Management, Development Management Studies, Capita Selecta on South African Public Administration, Ethics & Accountability.
