MAIN JOB PURPOSE

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma/ Degree in HR Management
  • Intermediate understanding of the Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act, Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and all other applicable legislation
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Driver's License with own/reliable transport will be advantageous.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical recruitment, particularly in software and hardware engineering domains.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Knowledge of HRMS will be advantageous.

DUTIES

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the technology industry.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate and refine recruitment processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Complete job requisitions including prescreening questions.
  • Conduct preemployment checks.
  • Arrange psychometric assessments if needs be.
  • Obtain approval for special contractual arrangements.
  • Compile motivations for special contractual arrangements.
  • Perform onboarding of new employees in collaboration with Signa Group HR.
  • Facilitate onboarding plan with line manager within the Signa Group framework.
  • Compile monthly recruitment cost statistics for Riots.
  • Assist with Payroll administration and follow up on payroll related queries relating for employee.
  • Ensure that all new employees' outstanding documents are submitted to relevant HRBP.
  • Manage end to end process of internal staff transfers and secondments.
  • Designing and maintaining the job matrix of all jobs within Riot.
  • Checking the consistency of job descriptions against internal policies and procedures.
  • Conduct exit interviews.

Talent Management

  • Ensure alignment with talent framework, policies and processes.
  • Assist line managers with internal talent pool development processes.

Performance Management

  • Drive continuous adoption of performance and goals.
  • Ensure that all employees have goals and assist with the formulation of goals, as required.
  • Ensure that all employees have completed midyear and yearend performance reviews.
  • Assist line managers with performance management system.

KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Proficiency with MS Office i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to transfer skills and knowledge to subordinates.
  • Knowledge of CIPC secretarial company experience is preferred.
  • Conflict Management and excellent Negotiation skills and show initiative, creativity, and selfdiscipline.
