JOB TITLE:

HEAD OF QUOTATION AND ORDER MANAGEMENT

We are seeking a Head of Quotation and Order Management to join our Pumps Division, to manage to the Quotation and Order Management Operations.

This position is mainly located in Alrode, Gauteng.

In this position, you will report to the Pumps Operations Manager, South Africa.

TEAM YOU BELONG TO

You will join the Pumps division in Alrode that strive to effectively deliver a seamless experience, that delivers a solution that meets the customers needs.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Management, Suppliers, Sub-Contractors, Clients, Supply and Sales Team, Market Area Services teams, Business Area teams and Business Lines

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Managing and developing spare parts Quotation and Order Management operations
Managing resources and ensuring that team competencies match with the role specific requirements and develop them accordingly
Ownership of customer experience and responsible for continuously improving it in quotation and order management operations
Customer communications
Quote & order backlog management
Responsible for efficient operative performance follow-up (daily/weekly/monthly execution practices), corrective actions and related reporting
Ensuring spare parts quotations and agreement packages fit customer needs and Metso policies
Responsible for ensuring that all cases contain adequate information to support efficient Order Management process
Ensuring that Metso global processes and customer logistics operating model, governance, roles and responsibilities are in place in the unit
Responsible for operational working instructions for team

WHO YOU ARE
Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor's degree as a minimium
Minimum years experience (Pref in a customer facing position)
Knowledge of quotation and order management operations
Strong understanding of transactional commercial terms and local customs and tax procedures
Metso business understanding and detail Spare Parts business understanding
Business development and performance improvement
Good working knowledge of Metso IT systems i.e. SAP & Sales Force
Basic understanding of relevant technologies
