Minimum requirements for the role:


  • Must have a tertiary qualification in Agriculture
  • Minimum 5 years Sales Management experience is essential
  • Must have a valid drivers license and passport and be willing to travel extensively
  • Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required
  • Managing the South African sales team.
  • Coordinating all sales activities within the various provinces.
  • Developing market share.
  • Contributing to sales planning and budgets.
  • Maintaining proficiency of sales skills and product knowledge of the sales team.
  • Operating and managing budgeted OPEX for sales team.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timeous completion of sales administration, including annual sales budgets.
  • Managing sales targets.
  • Liaising with clients and visiting key farmers on a regular basis.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Collecting and reporting uptodate market information.
