Kendrick Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Duty Manager.

The Duty Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of daily activities at the lodge, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and maintaining high standards of service.


_ Responsibilities_:


Guest Services:


  • Greet and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure guests' needs are met to exceed their expectations.

Operational Excellence:


  • Oversee daytoday operations to guarantee the smooth running of the lodge and spa.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure cohesive teamwork.
  • Monitor and manage room reservations, checkins, and checkouts.

Staff Supervision:


  • Supervise and support front office and other operational staff.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure highquality service delivery.
  • Conduct regular staff briefings to communicate relevant information.

Problem Resolution:


  • Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with different departments to find effective solutions to challenges.
  • Maintain a positive and solutionsoriented approach in all situations.

Emergency Response:


  • Act as the point of contact in case of emergencies and coordinate appropriate responses.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and emergency procedures.

Financial Accountability:


  • Assist in managing budgets and expenses within established guidelines.
  • Monitor and control costs to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration.
  • Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
