Description

3-5 years experience managing warehouse operations

Matric certificate
Diploma/Degree in relevant fields, or a strong recommendation from previous employers
Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
Extensive knowledge and experience with inventory and inventory controls
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organisational, multitasking, problemsolving and leadership skills
Knowledge of, and experience with Cin
Good computer skills
Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
Implement and comply with warehousing, product handling, and shipping requirements
Safeguard the warehouse operations and the warehouse contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Monitor and control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems (Cin7)
Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning staff; following up on work results
Maintain warehouse results by ensuring all objectives are achieved on time
Ensuring effective and safe use of all warehouse equipment
Ensuring the safety of all staff
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all warehouse activities
Maintain awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles
