Retail Store Manager Position - Leather Gallery
We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Leather Gallery Premium furniture store in The Grove


Leather Gallery has 16 Stores around the Country, A strong online presence and Eccommerce store along with 2 Major Distribution Centres.

It is a growing company and Prides itself in Selling Premium products at a Reasonable price.


You will need to ensure the smooth running of operations in your branch and ensure that all monthly sales objectives are achieved.


Earning Potential:

  • A Basic Salary will be Paid.
  • Commission will be paid on Personal Sales
  • A Generous scaled Bonus Kicker will be paid on Personal Sales on achieving personal sales milestones.
  • A Branch Bonus will be paid on Achieving Branch Targets.
  • Earning Potential is Large for Successful Managers who can sell personally and mange their teams to achieve store targets.
  • 5+ years successful experience as a retail manager. We will require past sales Achievement records for Personal and Branch.
  • Matric certificate
  • Diploma/Degree in related fields, or strong recommendations from previous employers.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales objectives
  • We will require past sales Achievement records for personal and Branch.
  • Strong sales abilities and proper understanding of customer service techniques
  • Experience with, and knowledge of POS systems is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to accurately communicate information about all products to customers
  • Computer skills**
    Your responsibilities will be to:
  • Organise and allocating store operations and responsibilities to the team
  • Supervise and guide your team towards achieving maximum sales results
  • Maintain and grow your teams results by coaching, disciplining and motivating them
  • Achieve monthly financial objectives.
  • Inspect the areas instore and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Achieve Personal Selling goals.

There will be 3 rounds of Interviews:

Round 1:
Skype or Teams Call with Head of HR

Round 2:
In Person Meeting with Regional Sales Manager

Round 3:
In Person Meeting or Online Call with Owners of the company.
