    Description

    RPO Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Merchandise Planner to join a reputable manufacturing company in their supply chain division.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain merchandise planning strategies and processes.
    • Analyze demand and sales data to forecast future inventory needs.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms.
    • Monitor production schedules and adjust plans to meet customer demand.
    • Coordinate with logistics team to ensure on-time delivery of merchandise.
    • Track and report on inventory levels, stock turns, and fill rates.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience as a merchandise planner in the manufacturing industry.
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
    • Proficiency in inventory management software.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
