Be the first to work on their new Retail Merchandise System from Europe and enjoy a non-corporate environment. Reporting to the Merchandise Executive. Job Description_

OTB Management

  • Buy Plan develop the overall buy plan for the year ahead annually to ensure target GP will be achieved.
  • Exclusive Brands develop a seasonal plan/shopping list for exclusive brands which indicates the OTB, gender, price points & units to be purchased based on performance & sell throughs.
Analysis

  • Maximise system capabilities through running cube reports where required.
  • Setup monthly management meeting reporting and make recommendations.
  • Update reports as required; within deadlines.
  • Assist with training of staff members where required.
Stock Management

  • Markdowns run 120day markdown list every monthend and provide management with scenarios to liquidate stock to be provided in the 2nd week of every month.
  • Refurbs and Relocations ensure the Team is up to date with last trade dates, reopening dates, last & new stock delivery dates & possible date changes, etc.
  • New Store Openings ensure the Team is up to date with opening dates, stock delivery dates & possible date changes and ensure stores have the correct mix of product prior opening (footwear, apparel & accessories splits).
  • Store Closures.
  • Allocations oversee that the correct allocation templates and sales periods are being applied for stock allocations.
  • IBT's.

Key Requirements_

  • Relevant Degree/Diploma.
years experience as a Retail Planner in Fashion/Footwear environment.

  • Selfstarter, with the ability to work independently.
  • Team player.
  • Excels at data analysis and the ability to create proposals based on information and analysis; ability to use this data analysis for problem solving.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Excellent skills with Excel at an advanced level and continue improvement / ongoing proactive training to learn new skills.
  • Commercial understanding and merchant mind set to identify opportunities.
  • Organised, multi tasker, deadline driven.
