    Description
    Minimum requirements for the role:
    • Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
    • Minimum 4 years bookkeeping experience will be required
    • Excel, Word and Outlook must be at an advanced level and knowledge of financial systems is important
    • Must be deadline driven with high accuracy and attention to detail
    • Good communication and writing skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, are important
    • Must have own transport

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:
    • Processing and reconciling the cash book.
    • Performing all account receivables and payables functions.
    • Processing invoices.
    • Maintaining the fixed asset register.
    • Preparing invoices and reconciliations.
    • Maintaining the general ledger, including recurring and normal journals.
    • Reconciling month end working papers and sub modules to GL.
    • Verifying and updating credit applications.
    • Attending to general administration, such as filing and preparing ad hoc reports.
    • Assisting with annual audits.
    • Assisting with all related financial functions which may be required from time to time.
