Introduction

Role Purpose
To maintain and create financial control processes in support of the organisations' objectives and profitability. Applies principles of accounting to analyse financial information and prepare financial reports / working papers.


Requirements:


Experience and Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with Accounting and Mathematics
  • Accounting Diploma / Certificate and/or financial courses (preferred)
years Financial Control or Financial Accounting experience (preferred)
years Financial Control or Financial Accounting experience in the Financial Services industry (preferred)


Duties & Responsibilities

The work you need to deliver

  • Effective and consistent service delivery and support to all internal client.
  • To ensure efficiency, effectiveness and standardisation of financial control activities (transaction processing) through continous automation (IT systems)
  • Prepare and analyse decision support information and resolving queries / differences
  • Perform accounting and clerical functions involving the compiling, arranging and analysis of data
  • Adhere, establish and maintain a sound financial policy and procedures
  • Identify and ensure that all risks relating to the Financial Control environment are mitigated and escalated where necessary
  • Proactive close alignment to business and products
  • Manage own performance and development
