a New and popular franchise is opening its' doors in Parktown Johannesburg and will need 15 waiters to join its dynamic team when opening the restuarant on the 17th of September 202-
SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZEN'S ONLY.

Must be fluent in English and well spoken as well as presentable.

Grade 12 Minimum

Working Hours: 180 hours per week (overtime capped at 40 hours extra). Includes weekends.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years previous experience at an upper tier establishment

Knowledge of cocktails and drinks would be beneficial. Knowledge of POS systems would be beneficial.

Qualities:
Vibrant, funky, energetic, well spoken, presentable, extrovert

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily preparation of shop opening & cleaning
Greeting of guests at the entrance of the restaurant
Assisting guests with seating allocation
Handing out menus to guests
Recommendation of meals and drinks in accordance with customer preferences
Have an extremely good understanding of the menu and ingredients per dish.
Taking of food and drink orders as well as punching this in on the POS system
Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area and ensuring the best customer service per table is delivered on a daily basis.
Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests in a timeous manner (speed of service is essential)
Printing of bills and processing of bill payments (cash & card)
Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests also ensuring that the order placed was the correct order received.
Following health code standards with regards to the handling of food
Performing shift duties like delivering racks of cups to the service station, rolling silverware, prebussing tables, wiping tables and removing debris and more
Ensure that tables are cleaned and presentable for the next guests.
Closing of table so on the POS system
Processing of Takeaway orders as well as preparation thereof.
Build rapport with customers as to ensure the best possible dining experience is delivered.
Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner along with management.
