Key Outputs

  • Load / Offload rental equipment in rental yard and on customer sites
  • Ability to load and offload from truck and trailer
  • Ensure rental delivery and collection notes are signed off by customer
  • All signed documentation to be handed to Hire Desk / Logistics Planner every morning
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections such as checking fluid level and tire pressure, etc
  • Maintain vehicle logbook / trip sheets, and obtain daily approval from Logistics Planner
  • Report any accidents to Logistics Planner immediately
  • Ensure safety file is always in truck and is up to date
  • Adhere to company operating policies and procedures
  • Comply with traffic rules and regulations
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean and safe
  • Assist with diesel deliveries as and when required

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

  • Matric
  • Code 14 drivers licence
  • Crane licence
  • Rigging licence
  • Public driving permit licence
years experience driving trucks
years experience operating cane
years' experience advanced rigging

  • High levels of customer service
  • Flexible willing to work long hours
  • Willing to work standby and weekends
  • Geographical knowledge of South Africa
  • 22 Ton forklift licence would be advantageous
