BIOVAC is one of the leading sterile vaccine manufacturers rooted in Africa, with our core purpose being to "protect life". We are looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, confident, proactive and meticulous Maintenance Planner to join a goal-oriented team.


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:


  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical engineering.
  • Recognition is given to Prior Learning and practical experience.

NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:


  • At least 5 years experience in Planning and Scheduling of all Maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Experience in quality and regulatory compliance within a cGMP facility.
  • Experience in using site electronic systems to adhere to schedules.
  • Experience in engineering store system.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

  • Identify work through notifications or work requests.
  • Scope and plan work in accordance with identified notifications or work requests.
  • Schedule planned activities.
  • Coordinate the execution of tasks.
  • Close out documentation.
  • Review the execution outcomes of the work management process.
  • Maintain master data.
  • Assist with Developing and communicating relevant KPI's for the maintenance team: PPM compliance %, Schedule Adherence, MTBF and % PM executed.
  • Support the Reliability Lead in all phases of evolution and customization of products (including design, qualification, industrialisation, and engineering support during production).
  • Monitor progress and learnings ongoing to ensure adequate return on time and resources invested.
  • Drive continuous improvement plans and priorities through the implementation of appropriate tools or methodologies to proactively manage risk, reduce wastage and to improve quality on site.
  • Ensures adherence to schedules and unscheduled Maintenance and calibration.
  • Responsible that the change control, and nonconformance system is strictly adhered to by team.
  • Writing, drafting and training of SOPs.
  • Responsible for SLAs, training, planning and involvement of internal staff and external companies for activities.
  • Follow up to verify work was performed correctly.
