    Description
    Requirements:
    • Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom or equivalent) preferably in Logistics
    • 3 years experience in a similar position, preferably with perishables/fruit
    • Experience with a pallet management system such as Paltrack will be an advantage
    • Knowledge of fruit export documentation will be advantageous
    • Computer literate - Word, Excel
    • Work overtime as needed

    Duties:
    • Daily logistical planning of cold store dispatch activities (container bookings; Q67; loading instructions and daily planning) and the flow of information to all the relevant stakeholders
    • Allocation of daily timeslots for all pallet dispatches into containers or trucks
    • Preparation of documentation for dispatches and fruit inspections
    • Managing risks regarding logistical activities
    • Liaising with clients on a regular basis
    • Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
