    Job Purpose
  • To manage, lead and develop staff in branch to meet service and sales objectives whilst ensuring compliance to processes and procedures to prevent risk and ensuring alignment to the Financial and service objectives of the Business Unit

Responsibilities:


  • Meet financial targets and manage controllable expenses.
  • Achieve sales growth and operational targets.
  • Achieve Main Banked objectives through client acquisition, retention and cross sell.
  • Manage and achieve all sales targets cost effectively.
  • Increase profitability and ensure business strategies are executed.
  • Meet business objectives and increase revenue.
  • Manage Foreign Exchange function, including process and sales.
  • Manage branch asset register.
  • Drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) targets.
  • Develop and maintain sound client and stakeholders relationships.
  • Manage Qmatic system in Branches without Quematic.
  • Ensure digital migration and educate clients.
  • Ensure staff understanding of the Service Charter.
  • Update service history cards when service failure have been identified.
  • Ensure service standards are maintained and that clients are retained.
  • Build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure increased client acquisition, and client centric experience.
  • Acknowledge and understand client needs and deliver client centric experience.
  • Respond within SLA to all Social Media and other escalated complaints.
  • Manage Branch Risk Observation Training Analysis (BROTA) objectives.
  • Mitigate operational and reputational risk.
  • Analyse and do weekly spot checks on relevant system in relation to sales claimed and targets achieved.
  • Drive team efficiency and effectiveness and ensure improvement.
  • Improve service delivery by analysing relevant data points.
  • Ensure that staff have a clear understanding of requirements of the Branch business plan.
  • Ensure branch is optimally staffed through capacity planning.
  • Allocate work with clear accountabilities.
  • Seek opportunities to improve business processes, models and systems by embracing agile principles.


  • Essential Qualifications

  • NQF Level
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees


  • Preferred Qualification

  • Must have completed a Bachelor of Commerce, or a

National Diploma:
Business Management

  • Essential Certifications
  • FAIS certification / registration mandatory


  • Minimum Experience Level

  • Must have 5 years' experience in managing a smaller Branch (Retail, client facing) or direct team.
