    Our client is a dynamic and progressive agricultural enterprise dedicated to sustainable farming practices. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Agronomist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow their career in the field of agronomy.

    Job Summary: As a Junior Agronomist, you will work closely with our senior agronomists and farming partners to support various aspects of crop management and agricultural operations. This role involves hands-on experience in the field, data collection and analysis, and collaboration with farmers to implement best practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Field Assistance:
      • Work alongside senior agronomists to provide on-site support to farmers in areas such as planting, irrigation, and pest management.
      • Assist in conducting field trials and experiments to test new agronomic practices.
    2. Data Collection:
      • Collect and record data related to crop performance, soil conditions, and environmental factors.
      • Utilize data collection tools and technologies to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
    3. Training and Education:
      • Participate in the development and delivery of training programs for farmers, focusing on best agronomic practices and safety measures.
      • Support educational initiatives to enhance farmers' understanding of sustainable agriculture.
    4. Research Support:
      • Assist in literature reviews and research activities related to crop management and agronomic innovations.
      • Collaborate with senior agronomists in implementing research findings into practical farming strategies.
    5. Farm Visits:
      • Conduct regular farm visits to assess crop conditions, identify issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
      • Build positive relationships with farmers to enhance communication and cooperation.
    6. Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
      • Engage with farmers to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
    • Passion for sustainable agriculture and a strong interest in agronomy.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Basic knowledge of crop management practices and agricultural technologies.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the field.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
