- Respond to inquiries from customers regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
- Diagnose system errors and provide technical assistance for questions and problems
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
- Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or other customer support role
- Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and customer service principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team environment
