Key Performance Area:


  • Assist staff with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment and software in line with IT Policy
  • Provide one on one training on hardware and software usage when needed
  • Update and maintain computer inventory and surplus equipment
  • Backup of systems and users' data
  • Maintain and resolve issues on LAN/WAN, VoIP telephone, Biometric, Video systems and other computing equipment
  • Ensure client computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems
  • Interact with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with IT equipment and software
  • A good understanding of Information and Communication Technology

Minimum Requirements:


  • Matric/Grade 1 2 years verifiable working experience as an IT Technician is nonnegotiable
  • Highly adaptable and able to work in a multiproject environment
  • Ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients
