Description

*REQUIREMENTS:* - *Essential* - Minimum NQF level 4, (Grade 12, National Senior Certificate) - Knowledge and awareness of occupational health and safety requirements in a laboratory setting;

Experience in the safe use of machine tools and hand tools;
Computer literacy in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, etc;
Valid driver's license (Min Code C1);
Good interpersonal and communication skills and a strong commitment to service delivery;
Ability to work under mínimal supervision;

- *Desired

A certificate qualification in Civil Engineering in the relevant field;
Experience in working in Structures Teaching and Research laboratory;
Experience in working in a Teaching and Research Engineering environment;
Varied skillset;
It is not expected of the post holder to be familiar with all of the equipment and apparatus in the lab, but they should be eager and willing to learn;
