Description

To expose export customers to products and growing the export market

Provide practical support and training to export customers.
Follow up on Export customers regarding technical issues and satisfaction with products.
General duties relating to the running and advancement of the Export Department
Be available for extensive travelling abroad.
Consult potential customers in their various bakery / food facilities.
Analyze customers' needs when visiting and identify new business opportunities.
Assist the Export Manager in developing new export markets, with specific focus on Portuguese and French speaking countries.
Facilitate the setting up of distributors in all export territories.
Assist in the development process of new products.
Assist the export controllers where necessary.
Oversee logistics, warehouse and office when the Export Manager is travelling.

Take responsibility for facilitating business in specified countries (assisting with queries, logistics, planning and reporting where necessary)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Matric

Baking, confectionary and technical qualifications.

Computer literate, specifically Excel

Experience of general baking and confectionary and calling on export industry.

Driver's licence with no endorsements essential.
