Phoenix. Established, fast-growing concern seeks Workshop Foreman who is a qualified Diesel Mechanic with solid experience on trailers and taillights.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and implement the fleet maintenance
  • Manage stock levels and the purchasing and replacement of parts and equipment
  • Manage performance of a shift
  • Ensure successful implementation, monitor and management of SHEQ procedures
  • Attend to breakdowns and implement maintenance schedules
  • Ensure housekeeping is to standard
  • Monthly toolbox talks
  • Monthly inspection of all workshop tools and technician tools
  • Ensure load testing is done annually
  • Ensure timesheets and attendance registers is up to date daily
  • Quality inspections daily
  • Manage job cards and submit for closing of job cards

Requirements:


  • Qualified Diesel Mechanic
  • Able to work on diesel trucks and truck trailers (good knowledge)
  • Experience on trailers and taillights
  • Code 14 licence
  • Experience at supervisory level


  • Computer literate

  • MS office
  • Manpower utilization
  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Medically fit
