Job Advert Summary:


Automation Control Solutions is a market leader in Southern Africa in the field of Process Control Instrumentation providing world-renowned products, specialised training, after sales service and technical support.

Automation Control Solutions represents Emerson Automation Solutions, in Southern and Eastern Africa.

The Draughtsman will be responsible for creating drawings on CAD for various specialised electrical panels and projects.

Assistance in panel workshop with assembling and all panel wiring, labelling and testing functions, will be a requirement.


Minimum Requirements:


Qualifications:

Grade 12 / Matric
AutoCAD Certification - Esssential


Experience:

3 years CAD experience
E-plan experience would be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and understanding of specialised panels and their functions,specific to customer requirement and specification.
Assist in the build and lay-out of panels
Drafts in AutoCAD - Specific to Plant Automation electronics and Process Control.
Assist with procurement duties
Follow established departmental policies, procedures and objectives, assuring continuous quality improvement & safety awareness
Assist with E-Plan Drawings basic function (After Training)
