    Position: Senior Actuarial Specialist: Income Solutions

    Location: Cape Town

    Role Overview:

    As a Senior Actuarial Specialist: Income Solutions, you will play a crucial role in our product management team, focusing on income solutions such as life, capital preservation, and living annuities. You will be responsible for conducting experience investigations, modeling, and data analysis to support the development of new investment and saving solutions, as well as monitoring existing solutions. Additionally, you will analyze competitor products, provide technical actuarial support, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance client service and solution design.

    Requirements:

  • Nearly qualified Actuary (ASSA/IFoA)
  • At least 4 years of actuarial work experience
  • Product development experience preferred
  • Experience working with income solutions will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
  • Proficient in MS Office Packages (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)

    • Requirements
    QUALIFICATIONS: Master's in Finance from premier B-Schools OR Chartered Accountant. CFA Level 3 clearance is a valuable asset. 0 to 3 years of experience. Experience with international banks, developers, investors, or similar institutions is beneficial. Infrastructure/Project finance experience is preferred. Proficient in financial modeling and contract analysis. Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills. Ability to work under pressure in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
