Role:

As the Facilities Manager/Site Lead you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our building systems and services.

You'll also be responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of our organization.

As the appointed Site Lead, you'll ensure that best practices are followed for maximum efficiency and that the most suitable working environment is attained for its employees and their activities.


This is a diverse field with a range of responsibilities, which are dependent on our structure and size of our organization.

You'll be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to our buildings and premises/locations.


Likely areas of responsibility include, but not limited to:
Overseeing building / Tenant space and grounds maintenance.

Operates and maintains custodial functions.

Ensures security and Emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.

Ensures that the facility is clean and well maintained according to company policy and procedures.

Handles general accounting tasks, such as accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, and budgeting.


Oversees and supervises the quality of work for other employees to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.

Manages and reviews Service Level Contracts.

Conducts and record regular site facilities inspections.

Checks completed work by vendors and contractors.

Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.

Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.

Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management.

Oversee and Manage company transport for your respective sites.

Asset Register for your respective sites

Review cleaning and Hygiene inspection sheets

Manage internal vendors

Manage front desk reception and security.

Respond to emergencies on time

Manage the process for WAHA for campaigns on your respective sites feed this back to the head of facilities.

Implement Health and Safety procedure for your respective sites

Do regular spot checks on Access systems for your respective sites.

Participate in Audits for your respective sites.

Submit monthly reporting for Global reporting on the resilience of the respective sites you manage.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Health and Safety Certificates (Essential)

National diploma / certificate in office Management or Facilities Management. (Advantageous)

3 -5 years in a similar role

Three years' experience in a senior management role.

Previous Contact Centre Management Experience preferably within a customer services contact centre (Background Checks will be conducted)

Highly developed leadership and management skills.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills essential.

Good relationship builder.

Capable of working under pressure, multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines.


Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of outsourcing and the importance of managing performance for Teleperformance and its clients.

Track record of implementing and managing new and ongoing projects.

Strong verbal and written communications skills essential.


Ability to commute/relocate:

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
