Casidra seeks to recruit a Project Implementer who is proficient and skilled in providing effective project implementation.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Implementation and assistance with technical support to Food Security projects;
- Act as direct liaison between Government Institutions and beneficiaries;
- Facilitate project meetings;
- Provide technical inspections, design input, specifications and construction administration regarding quality, time and budget on various technical projects;
- Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, project teams, as well as the development of an effective liaison network;
- Assist with negotiations for obtaining possible resources, negotiations with suppliers, contractors and clients in separate project regard;
- Continuous quality control of projects from initial date until the date of completion with reporting to management, directors and funders;
- Effective administration and record keeping in line with Standard Operating procedures;
- Enforce the Occupational Health and Safety act on projects (ensure that all contractors are registered at COIDA, have SHE file and a competent construction manager with no enquiries from DOL regarding accidents or nonadherence);
TO BE CONSIDERED YOU WILL HAVE:
- BTech Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- At least months experience in a built environment
- Previous experience in project implementation, budgeting, procurement and report writing would be advantageous
- A valid driver's license
