PROJECT LEADER
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Construction Support industry, for a Project Leader. The position is based in Cape Town.


Profile:

Responsible for the managing, delivering, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the programme.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Construction related qualification (Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma)
  • Experience on construction software (BuildSmart, etc.)
  • Building Relationships by establishing rapport and interacting with people
  • Communicating information by articulating information eloquently and explaining things well
  • Being prepared to challenge ideas and established views
  • Making decisions and being comfortable coordinating and directing people
  • Ability to react to change positively and with composure
  • Work participatively with others, supporting and valuing the team
  • Delivering results by being meticulous, accurate and thorough
  • Upholding standards by being ethically and justly maintaining integrity

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing the projects allocated, including but not limited to the following:

  • Supporting the Programme Manager
  • Ensuring adherence with cashflow and programme.
  • Meeting deadlines.
  • Keeping the server up to date at all times.
  • Ensuring that all documentation is filed correctly.
  • Managing consultant's appointments and performance.
  • Managing contractor's appointments and performance.
  • Complying with all processes and protocols.
  • Management of Contracts, including JBCC and NEC.
  • Checking invoices and their correctness.
  • Reviews of invoices.
  • Review of appointments, additional fees, and any other related matters.
  • Making sure Auditor General audits are successfully completed.
