Key Outputs

  • Draughting of civil, mechanical and electrical CAD drawings for tender and quotation proposals
  • Draughting of civil, mechanical and electrical CAD drawings for drawings for contract of generator and related equipment ( as designed and dictated by the engineer ) including:

  • Simple civil structures including plinths, bund systems, cable trenches, generators and fuel systems, plant rooms:

Electric circuit diagrams for LV,MV and PLC control equipment:


  • Fuel systems installation, including P & ID diagrams
  • Mechanical system including generator canopies, exhaust system, ventilation system
  • Support design engineers and contract department with necessary drawings
  • Generate Bill of quantity for drawings

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

  • 510 years of CAD experience
  • Methodically and organised
  • Attention to detail
  • Accuracy
  • Knowledgeable on SANS 60439, SANS 10131, SANS 1010
  • Good accurate CAD skills
  • Through experience of working with AutoCAD and Solid works essential
  • Literacy and numeracy skills at Level
  • Matric
