    Legal bookkeeper, Pretoria based law firm.


    Job description:
    Creditors

    • Responsible for contacting and obtaining bimonthly statements of account from Advocates (approx. 70 in total but not all that active)
    • Responsible for the accurate and timeous completion of bimonthly reconciliations of all Advocates
    • Capturing of Advocates invoices into Work in progress on AJS accounting system
    • Maintaining monthly lists of Advocates invoices processed in support of cash flow to be set aside for payment (General terms of Advocates is 90 days)
    • Preparing relevant monthly requisitions for payment of Advocates in accordance with terms
    Debtors

    • Responsible for distributing monthly invoices and statements as well as collection of same for one insurance department
    Other

    • 6 x Larger Complex Sheriff accounts to be reconciled monthly
    • Be prepared to accept additional responsibility and attend to any other accounting related tasks
