Qualification required:

  • Matric
  • 1 year secretarial qualification at NQF5 level

Knowledge & Experience:

  • 3 years secretarial experience in a similar sized organisation
  • Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Carrier conditions of insurance
  • ISO Procedures
  • Job descriptions and work procedures
  • Branch organisational structure
  • Problem solving and accuracy
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication
  • Team player
  • Planning and organising. Situation analysis
  • Time management. Administration
  • Tenacity. Reliable
  • Confidentiality

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Type, copy, file and distribute documents
  • Manage and maintain the Branch Managers diary, and setting appointments
  • Answer incoming telephone calls
  • Arrange meetings / training
  • Office
  • Arrange trips and functions
  • Coordinate office and building maintenance
  • Maintain personnel records and attend to personnel issues
  • Order and control of stationery and office consumables
  • Comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System
  • Ad Hoc
