    Description

    Overview

    The role will be required to provide accurate and data-based information on the organisation's profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity, this will be done through analysing the past and present financial data of the organization and estimating future revenues and expenditures. The role will advise on return on investment for different stocks and business ventures, writing financial reports and collecting industry research to inform decision making and will be required to gather data to understand the trends affecting a specific type of product, geographical region or industry to help the organisation make important investment decisions.

    Qualifications

    Bcom / Engineering

    Experience


    • 3-5 Years working in a Finance related role, providing insight on Processes and Procedure efficiencies.

    • Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.

    • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis

    Duties


    • Consolidating and analysing financial data, taking into account company's goals and financial standing

    • Providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.

    • Assembling and summarizing data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks

    • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.

    • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models.

    • Track and determine financial status by analysing actual results in comparison with forecasts.

    • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.

    • Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field.

    • Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope.

    • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.

    • Evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation.

    • Explore investment opportunities.

    • Establish and evaluate profit plans.

    • Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

    • Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.

    • Provide financial models and forecasting.
