    Description

    RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a friendly and skilled Mechanic to join our client's manufacturing team in Cape Town. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for mechanics and a friendly demeanor.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment
    • Detect and diagnose mechanical issues
    • Repair and replace defective parts and components
    • Conduct tests and troubleshoot problems
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
    • Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Proven experience as a Mechanic
    • Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment
    • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Friendly and customer service-oriented
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
