    Description

    Our client is looking for a Junior Procurement Officer to join their team, to be responsible for purchasing materials, components, equipment, and facilities from internal and external suppliers to meet the demand for production process.

    Responsibilities:

    • Procurement of direct and indirect materials including placing orders according to weekly replenishment, following up on deliveries, liaising with sales on backorders.
    • Supplier Liaison make sure that stock is received as ordered and as per agreed product specification.
    • Procurement of consumable/Expense items for Montague Gardens site according to budget.
    • Procurement of Pre-printed stationery & corporate clothing for FHG nationally.
    • Switchboard & Procurement backup as required.
    • Data capturing for stock take.
    • Actively exploring sourcing opportunities to deliver enhanced quality and savings.

    Qualifications:

    • Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification.
